I just moved to Peabody from Wakefield, so let me know if there's anything I should check out in my new town! Some of my hobbies include skiing, hiking, camping, shooting pool, going for walks/jogs, watching Red Sox games, and staying active. Don't get me wrong, I do like hanging out and watching movies too. Life's all about balance, right?

Through the course of my life I have learned the importance of honesty and try to be an honest and trustworthy person. I never back out of something after I say I'm going to do it (one of my biggest pet peeves!)

I have some great friends, but I also enjoy doing things on my own sometimes. If my friends are being lame and don't want to do something I won't hesitate to do it alone (hike/ski etc.) However, I would much rather have someone to share my adventures with.

I am very spontaneous...I absolutely love spur-of-the-moment trips. For my last college spring break, a friend and I randomly decided to drive to Florida and left that same night.

I enjoy driving and have been known to go on aimless drives with no destination. This (and my roomy vehicle) usually means I'm the driver whenever I go somewhere with my friends. :/

I LOVE amusement parks and rollercoasters. Judging by the lines at Six Flags New England, I'm not the only one.

I'm pretty quirky, kind of a geek, and didn't ever fit in with one of those cookie-cutter crowds, even in college when the crowds get a little more specialized. I've never been what anyone would deem normal. Which is awesome, who'd want to be normal?

Half the time I am pretty girly (I like chick flicks, worry about my hair, and ask my boyfriend why he loves me), and the other half I'm completely off-script (I kick ass at video games, agree with my boyfriend when he says "that girl is HOT!" and I haven't been planning my wedding since I was 10).

I would really love to make some new friends, so if I sound like someone you could get along with socially, don't be shy. I would love to get to know you.

And now, a little more about me. Cause how can I sound like someone you'd want to hang out with if there's nothing here?! I am a professional photographer, but I dabble in some other arts as well. I like to sew (case in point, I whipped up my halloween costume this year in about 3 hours from random scraps of fabric I had tucked away... it was a very project runway moment), I love to cook, I really enjoy traveling, reading, dancing! (salsssa), singing and I frequently enjoy finding creative things to go out and do without spending a ton of money (example: salsa dancing! lol). Ummmm.... I really like doing creative things... Problem solving in unusual ways is something I'm pretty good at. And I am our one-woman technical support GURU for all our computers, so I have to do that pretty frequently (my parents were software engineers, so maybe it's in the blood?). And, I like sudoku. I mean like the crazy monster sudoku with adding and abnormal boxes and letters and stuff. fun!

And now to balance it out... Stuff I'm not good at: always saying things tactfully, always knowing when someone is kidding vs. serious, using the word polyphonic in a sentence (leave that to my boyfriend the musician), singing an A note on command... Salsa dancing (just kidding)...

Bottom line, I am a pretty nice person, and I will never say anything mean if you message me. So just do it! :)

I've got a degree in math and a lot of programming skills which are currently being put to excellent use... as a cashier at a convenience store. Still trying to find an actual job, not the sort of thing I saw myself doing with my life but looking at the current unemployment rates I suppose I'm lucky to have anything at all. Certainly there are those much worse off than me. I'd like to find a job in programming.

I am, ultimately, a homebody. My ideal vacation is just hanging out at home. I enjoy going out to eat, going to movies, going shopping, and doing similar activities with small groups of close friends.

A friend of mine had good results from this site, so I thought I'd give it a whirl... I am working as an Estimator / Project Manager with a great electrical contracting company that I hope to be with for many years. I have a band, in which I play bass guitar, and sing - we play mostly blues and classic-rock type stuff. We had a ska band going for a while when I was in college which was great fun. I also play the trombone, and I'm actually taking bagpipe lessons (I'm proud of my Scottish heritage!). I like going to bars once in a while, but I don't do clubs, unless I were to find some kind of swing-music type of club. That would be cool. I'm pretty much in awe of this great big shit show called the universe. Life is fucking amazing, so I went into biology, but death isn't my thing so I took a desk job. My weakness is my hometown, gloucester, definitely the sexiest piece of granite I've seen and I've been all over. Seefeld, Austria is a close second, but in terms of livability I belong in LA. What else... I have a twin and another brother on the west coast and I'll probably be heading there soon.

I believe in love at first site, love that lasts forever, and happy endings and to be honest, I don't want to settle for less than the the true love with the happy ending. My grandparents were married for over 60 years and were just as much in love in year 60 as they were in year 1. I would love to find some version of this story.

I am active, fit, and pretty low maintenance and looking for a like minded person to share life experiences. I just completed my first marathon and am eagerly looking forward to the next one - training starts again in January! I enjoy photography (I still use a film camera), love to read, cook, and travel. I have discovered snow shoeing and have fallen in love with it! I am an avid runner and can usually be found training or racing somewhere, especially on the weekends. With that said, I will also say that I really enjoy the outdoors, hiking etc, but at the end of the day, I want a bed, running water / indoor plumbing, and a HOT shower.

I am a desktop support technician at an AT&T subsidiary. I enjoy riding my motorcycle (a 2006 Yamaha YZF600R if you're interested), swimming and boating at the summer house in NH, and playing computer and Xbox 360 games (CoD:MW2, Halo 3, Splosion Man, Castle Crashers are my current favs). I learned Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in the Army, and still practice when I get a chance. Basically I'm a laid back easygoing guy that enjoys hanging with my friends and getting out to try new things.
