“Perla has worked with my son in Saltonstall for years. I cannot express how much she has helped to get him to the academic level he is at today. She is amazing. Diana Ortiz” This review was posted by a parent.

“We had a foster child at Saltonstall, and the faculty and staff were so supportive of him and us as a family. The school uses an alternative approach to learning that is very effective, and the environment of the school is friendly, kind, and pleasant.” This review was posted by a parent.

“My children have been at Salts for 9 years. The quality of the teachers is incredible. They are dedicated, hard working and always work on their own time to help the kids. The community is supportive and the kids learn how to get along as well as academics. All in all, I wish that there were more stars to use to rate this school!” This review was posted by a parent.

“I am the parent of a kindergartner new to Saltonstall. In the 5 months we have been involved with this school, we couldn't be more pleased. Classes are integrated so that kids who are succeeding are paired with older children to improve their skills, and children who are struggling get extra support. The combined grades begin in 1-2, but the kindergartners are exposed to a lot of activities with the older children. There is ART EVERYWHERE and creative expression is a big deal in this school. We initially chose this school because it had the highest overall rating on Greatschools, and now we know why. The multiple intelligences approach highlights each child's area of strength. The staff, and the principal are GREAT.” This review was posted by a parent.

“We have had two children attend Saltonstall over the past seven years and have always been impressed by the commitment of the teachers. They are caring adn committed to helping the students succeed. Saltostall has a unique 11 month school calender - an amazing feature - I think it helps students retain more information over the summer and allows for an easy transition back to school in the fall.” This review was posted by a parent.

“Although some Government test scores are off it is due to diversity. This is one of the best Schools there are Public or Private. They truly strive to find ways for every child to learn and grow. Recently Salts went K-8. We parents are so very excited by this development. I also love the fact that they encourage parents to volunteer around the school. Salts is a truly innovative school!” This review was posted by a parent.

“My husband and I have found Saltonstall to be a wonderful, nurturing and overall academically challenging environment. The staff have unbelievable dedication and the parental involvement is like nothing I have heard of. The year round schedule really keeps the students on top of their game as they don't loose the basic skills over entended times off. The multiple intelligences approach to education makes every child realize they can be successful educationally, which is such an important message to communicate to new students! We have been very pleased with the preparation afforded for standardized tests, yet feel they haven't had to sacrifice the unique flavor of the school's educational goals, to be successful at this. We wanted a good, public, urban education for our kids, and feel we have made an excellent choice!” This review was posted by a parent.
