Covenant Christian Academy Reviews

“WOW! I have finally found a place that I know my children will have success! Not only is it a strong academics but they provide help for those children that may need a boost. They have a great music program as well! We have been so very pleased with all that our children are learning!!! I think everyone should give them a call and see what a Classical Christian Education is all about!” This review was posted by a parent.

“We've been here for 3 years and have found the faculty to be caring, knowledgeable, committed and easy to work with. The school is providing a classical education in a world where the target is moving as to what makes a good education. CCA's content is not progressively based, but is grounded in the classics. You won't have to worry about what your kids are reading that's for sure! Great literature, solid science, real American history, a desire to teach solid reading and math skills using cutting edge techniques, not cutting edge content. The Christian environment is supportive of our family's value system as well. It's a breath of fresh air for your kids education! If you're worried about the stuff filling your child's brain in their school, if you desire a return to classical content w/modern teaching techniques, if you like to be involved in your kids education, see CCA.” This review was posted by a parent.

“CCA is a wonderful school to send your children to. It has the whole package for a high quality education! The school has just received it accreditation from NEASC. They have top academics, sports, and music in all the grade levels (pre-K - 12 . I strongly recommend that you give them a call and find out for yourself what makes Covenant Education a Great Education!” This review was posted by a parent.

“My son has attended CCA ever since kindergarten and we have nothing but praise for the school. It is geared to be an academically challenging program and this is clearly stated upon application for admission. I have found the teachers we've had to be creative, caring disciplinarians and when there have been issues, it has been dealt with swiftly and effectively. Every year when results from the standardized testing have come back, my son has scored consistently above average, verifying education goals are being met. After school programs are varied and the sport and music programs have excelled in competitions. I certainly hope no one bases their decision regarding the school based on one obviously disgruntled parent (noted previous review) Go see the school for yourself and talk with the administration.” This review was posted by a parent.

“This school is not a very good one. When people talk about it they make it sound better than it really is. From its appearance it looks like a very nice school. It is a safe school but i would not recommend going there. My reason being, They try to educate students with things they should be learning a few years later and they have a horrible time with letting things go after a cirtain amount of time. An example of this would be when 'something' (I won't say what) happened early in the year and it has never happened again and i dont think ever will happen again, yet they wont let it go and they are still looking for who did it. Some of the staff arn't the best either, they make the classes way too boring and it makes it hard to pay attention. It's a bad School.” This review was posted by a other.

“The school is now called Covenant Christian Academy and is now located in Peabody, Ma. They have just purchased a facility in the former Peabody Junior High school and have ample room for growing. They are adding a grade per year to complete high school education. The school is working toward full accreditation. The academic program is outstanding and is based on a Classical Education principle. I'm incredibly impressed with the quality and content of the education. My 10th grader is reading things that I didn't see until university. Parental involvement is far superior to what we experienced in public schools; and this shows in the students. For a small private school the availability of music, art, and sports is fairly impressive. There are a few things that high-schoolers might miss when compared to a typical public school program.” This review was posted by a parent.
